Arsene Wenger has confirmed Arsenal‘s interest in Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and says a deal for the Gabon international is ‘possible’ in the next eight days.

The Gunners completed a move for Manchester United playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan last night with Alexis Sanchez moving in the opposite direction.

However, the Gunners are still active in the market and Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis was in Germany on Monday to negotiate a deal for Aubameyang.

Talks ended without an agreement being reached but Wenger confirmed today that a deal for the former AC Milan ace is ‘possible’.
